This cake was extremely moist and tasty. The rum was not overbearing and the taste was great!

This is the second vanilla rum cake we've had and it seems to taste better each time. We had some out of town guests come to the house and I knew I couldn't make something that looked OR tasted as good. Even days later with a slice left over, it was just as fresh as it was on day one. It's a hostesses dream come true!

The cake was wonderful! Went over so well for my rehearsal dinner. Ex specially from a bunch of sailors who greatly approved and drink nothing but rum. Lol ! I will order from you guys again. Delivered on time. Very pleasant!

I opened mine for a Mother's Day brunch and it was gone before the brunch was over. So good. Moist, flavorful. I sprinkled it with a little powdered sugar. I also will say it was boxed beautifully. I loved the box and didn't want to open it. I will order again. Really a nice gift for someone, or yourself.

Since it's the original recipe, I decided to purchase the Vanilla Rum cake for my husband's birthday celebration. None of us have had good experiences with rum cake in the past, but I knew this would be different. And I was right! We all were raving about it: from the flavor, to how moist it was, to how the rum accented the flavor instead of overpowering it ... I wasn't able to cut it into 12 slices, 8 just seemed more realistic, but it was probably so my hubs and I would each have one leftover piece =) Now the discussion is centered around which flavor we will try next!

I am a huge fan of all of the Bum's Rum Cakes... the vanilla is the go to favorite of our entire family! When it arrived the other day, I was heading out the door... I could hardly keep my mind on what I was doing, wanting to get back home and jump into the box... and, of course, I was only gone for 2 hours, but it had already had a huge chunk gone by the time I made it home... It is so incredibly YUMMMMMMY!!!
